Since our inception in 2003, we’ve operated with one, simple goal in mind: Remember our dear Megan by doing what she loved, help children achieve their full potential. Last year was a great year for our mission and foundation. The Megan Ann Mahon Memorial hosted our very first Mouse Derby fundraiser, volunteered once again for St. Patrick Center’s Pot o’ Gold and hosted our 11th Annual Trivia Night. Funds raised went to help area children and families, and even stretched to the other side of the world! Check out some of the great things you helped us accomplish in 2014.
- Sponsored a Special Olympics Team, the White Spirits
- Adopted a child in Africa, Gladys
- Sponsored the Annual Megan Ann Mahon SportsAcro Meet
- Granted two scholarships to SportsAcro athletes
- Awarded a grant to help Normandy high school students participate on the St. Louis Cobras Baseball Team
- Supported JDRF, a leader in research and assistance for those with Type 1 Diabetes
- Sponsored a local chapter of Girls on the Run at Maple Grove Elementary School, Jefferson County
- Provided support to the Starbound Dance Company
Countless studies cite good physical activity, positive teamwork and a sense of community as prime factors for helping children develop and thrive. Reaching all of the organizations and children mentioned above would not have been possible without your help. And we’re excited to continue to help children in our area and from around the world for years to come. Thank you again for a great 2014!
